Holly Vivian uses vibrant colours, circular geometric structure, and loose, playful textures to evoke delight and joy, providing an antidote to urban concrete sprawl.
Vivian earned her diploma of Theatre Technology and Design and has spent the subsequent two decades immersed in the visual engagement of art, the physical expression of dance, the storytelling of theatre, and the rhythms of music.
Equally animated as a social urbanite roaming the arts scene and a solitary kayaker exploring remote islands, she divides her time between sea (a tiny 23’ sailboat roaming the Pacific Northwest with her husband) and land (downtown Victoria, BC, Canada.)
Catherine Wilks, former Artistic Director for TEDxVictoria, is a Victoria based artist, children’s author, and intentional living coach.
Catherine is an intuitive creative picking her medium based on the flow of inspiration. From acrylic on canvas to the written word, art is a space for her spirited curiosity to play.
Her current work is a lighthearted exploration of movement, whimsy, and wonder. Her current medium acrylic on natural canvas taking form though a mix of abstract and nature inspired elements.
Artist
Tammy Peters
Tammy Peters is a Vancouver Island based acrylic impressionist painter whose work explores the emotive power of light and landscapes that stir a sense of connection and memory universal to us all. Tammy studied at Capilano University's Studio Arts Program and continues to refine her craft through workshops led by contemporary masters like Mike Svob, Jed Dorsey, and Phee Hudson.
Inspired by the natural world's beauty and depth, Tammy draws particular influence from artists like Georgia O'Keeffe and Emily Carr. Their ability to infuse ethereal elements into their works resonates with her own artistic vision.
Tammy's artwork, featured in group exhibitions hosted by organizations such as the BC Arts Council, the Victoria Arts Council, and Exchanges Gallery, reflects her ongoing exploration of these themes.
